Steven Sweeney, M.Ed, CCBT is the President and Founder of Good Success Consulting Group, Inc, a privately owned Consulting Group, specializing in Correctional Counseling, Educational Services and eLearning Solutions.
Steve works closely with Diversion Programs and Deferred Prosecution Programs, providing the Educational Component in a list of interventions many First Time Offenders must complete in order to get a misdemeanor charge expunged from their criminal record. He is most well known for his innovation, flexibility, accessibility, follow-up and case management services.

Steve earned a Bachelor or Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology from Winthrop University in 1983, and a Master of Education in Guidance from Winthrop University in 1986.

Jennifer Shackelford, MA, LPC, CAC II
Jennifer has a BS in Psychology and a MS in Clinical/Community Psychology. Ms. Shackelford has over 23 years’ experience working in the field within the public and private sector providing direct clinical services, developing service arrays, supervising staff and ultimately coordinating grants in evidence based treatment. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Additions Counselor, and a Certified Public Manager. . Jennifer has been employed with the Family Services Research Center within the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina working on various research studies since 2004. Additional work in research was performed within the Department of Nursing at the University of South Carolina. Prior to her interest in research, Jennifer oversaw treatment for the state of South Carolina as a Program Manager for the Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Studies from 2000-2004. Ms. Shackelford has worked in the mental health arena serving as the Assistant Director of the three county Pee Dee Mental Health center. Overall, Jennifer throughout the years has worked as a counselor, clinical supervisor, as an administrator, and researcher.
Jessica L. Drost, MA, LPCI
Jessica graduated magna cum laude from Western Michigan University in 2004 with a major in Psychology, and minors in Criminal Justice and Biology. In search of sunshine and beaches she moved from Michigan to South Carolina and began a career with the South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services. During this time she was awarded Agent of the Year, supervised a specialty caseload and pursued her master’s degree in Counseling. She graduated summa cum laude from Webster University in 2010 and is currently licensed as a professional counselor intern for the state of South Carolina. She began working with Good Success Consulting in early 2012 and loves reaching out to individuals who are making positive changes at critical times in their lives. Specialty counseling interests include those involved in the legal system, substance abuse and sexual deviance. She enjoys new motherhood, exercise, a great cup of coffee and has a special place in her heart for her blind rescue dog.
